广州珠江外资建筑设计院是广州地区著名的国有设计机构，创建于改革开放之初的1979年，是广州市顺应引进外资，探索建筑设计新模式，为建设高级旅游宾馆及大型公共设施场所而设立的一家综合建筑设计院。

        GUANGZHOU PEARL RIVER FOREIGN INVESTMENT ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNING INSTITUTE is a famous designing institute in and around Guangzhou, and it was founded in the year of 1979, which was at the very beginning of the reform and development. What's more, it was also a comprehensive architectural designing institute set up for attracting foreign investment，exploring new architectural designing modes，and constructing high-level tourism hotel and public facilities and ariums.
        At present, we are qualified with:

我院人才荟萃，专业齐全，设备精良，技术先进，现有专业人员约150人，其中国家设计大师1人，获高级职称的有30人，获得国家注册资格的有50人。设有三个综合设计所，一个规划与景观设计所，一个市政与设备设计所，三个分院(海南分院、武汉分院、南沙分院)以及工程咨询公司，专业范围包括城市规划、建筑工程设计、景观设计、室内设计、市政设计、消防设计、智能设计等，业务涉及中外合作设计，施工图设计审查，工程承包，环境艺术，建筑智能化工程等。
        Our institute has galaxy of talent, complete specialities, and advanced & well-equipped techniques, and we have a staff of about 150 members, including 1 state-level design master, 30 senior engineers or architects, and 50 who hold the state registered qualifications. Institute owns 3 comprehensive designing departments, one program and senery department, one municipal utilities and facilities designing department, three branches(Hainan branch, Wuhan branch, and Nansha branch), and a project consultation company. And the Institute takes up city programs、architectural designs、senery designs、fasion designs、municipal utilities designs、fire fighting designs、and intelligent designs, etc. Our business get involved in cooperation design with foreign companies，checkup for designs of construction drawings，general project contracts，environmental art，and architectural intelligent designs, etc.
我院自成立以来坚持走技术进步，科学管理，繁荣创作的道路，高质量完成广州地区及全国各地面积达上千万平方米的工程设计，项目涵盖城市设计、公共建筑，居住建筑，景观园林，室内装饰等，有众多设计项目获得国家、部、省、市优秀设计及科技进步奖。其中有：广州市儿童活动中心，广州世界贸易中心大厦，广州好世界广场，广州中级人民法院档案楼，广州国际金融大厦，广州江南大酒店，洛阳牡丹大酒店，广州富丽华大酒店，广州泰康城广场，海口珠江广场，三亚珠江国际花园酒店，广州天河客运站，广州芳村客运站，广东珠岛宾馆一号楼，体育花园住宅小区，广州海珠客运站，恒宝华庭，南沙滨海花园等，其中广州世界贸易中心大厦被市民评为广州市八大现代建筑之一，广州好世界广场在国内首次将钢管高强混凝土柱新技术应用到超高层建筑，荣获建设部科技进步奖。
        Since the establishment of the institute, it insisted on the road of technical progress，scientific management,and prosperous recreation,which made us complete more than 10-million sq.m. architectural design with high quality in and around Guangzhou and all over the country. Our projects involved city programs、public buildings,residential buildings,scenery and gardens,and fasion designs, etc. Many of the projects won excellent design works or scientific and technical progress prizes at levels of nation, ministry, province and city, including:Guangzhou Children center,Guangzhou International Trade Center,Guangzhou Nice World Square,Files Building of Guangzhou Intermediate People Court,Guangzhou International Financial Center,Guangzhou Jiangnan Restaurant,Luoyang Peony Restaurant,Guangzhou Fulihua Restaurant,Guangzhou Tai Kang Plaza Square,Haikou Pearl River Square，Sanya Pearl River International Garden Hotel,Guangzhou Tianhe bus Station,Guangzhou Fangcun bus Station, The "No.1" Building of Pearl Island Hotel in Guangzhou,Gymnasium Garden Residential Region,Haizhu Bus Station of Guangzhou,Hengbao Garden,and Nansha Coastal Garden, etc. Where Guangzhou International Trade Center was considered as one of the eight modern buildings of the Guangzhou city,and it was the first time for Guangzhou Nice World Square applying the new technology of high strengh concrete-filled steel hollow section columns to super-highrise buildings in our country,which won scientific and technical progress prize by Construction Ministry。

        The works our institute accomplished, which had the notion of recreation through it,won the widespread praise from customers and all the corners in society not only for the taste of Lingnan architecture，but also for the charm of modern architecture,together with the unique design style.
新世纪伊始，我院更是与国际建筑界携手共进，开展广泛的技术合作与人才交流，并走出境外，在澳门地区为2005年东亚运动会设计了主体育馆与何东体育馆两大场馆。并为九运会广州新体育馆项目中提供了设计咨询及设计监理服务。2003年我院在武汉琴台文化艺术中心及文化广场国际竞赛中一举中标，成为近年来同档次大剧院设计竞赛唯一中标国内设计机构。我院参加广州大学城广东工业大学校区设计，由于出色的设计及服务工作，连续几个月获得广州大学城建设指挥部办公室的表彰。2004年我院又配合英国扎哈·哈迪德建筑设计事务所开展广州市标志性文化设施----广州歌剧院的设计工作。
我院在改革开放的大潮中崛起，在二十六年的艰苦创业中发展壮大，"原创性，精品性，市场性：是我院的立院之本。在迈向新的发展进程中，我院全体设计员工将秉承长期铸就的勇于创新、积极奉献的精神，再铸精品，共创美好明天。
        At the beginning of the new century, our institute cooperated with the international architectural institutes, carried out widely technical cooperation and talent exchange, and went out of China designing the Main Gymnasium and Hedong Gymnasium in Macau for East Asian Games in 2005. And we supplied design Consulting and supervision services in Guangzhou new gymnasium project for the 9th national sports meet. In 2003, our institute succeeded in Qintai Art and Cultural Center and Cultural Square international competition in Wuhan, and it was the only one design agent in China who won the theater design competition of same level in recent years. Our institute took part in designs of Campus of Guangdong University of Technology in Guangzhou College Town, and won praises from the office of Guangzhou College Town construction headquarter for several months, for it's excellent design and service. In 2004, our institute cooperated with Zaha Hadid architectural designing institute in Britain for the cultural symbolic facilities in Guangzhou city ----design of Guangzhou Opera Theatre。
        Our institute standing out prominently in the spring tide of reform and opening up, developing and expanding for 26 years' hard work,"originality,eliteness，and marketability" are taking as our principles.
